Cache Creek Casino in Brooks has reopened, but work still needs to be done to recover from an attack on the resorts’ computer systems.

According to a statement received late Tuesday, the casino restarted operations at noon on Monday in what some called a “soft reopening.”

Information technology professionals at the resort have been working around the clock to recover from the attack on computer systems that lead to a closure on Sept. 20, and are “now confident that guests can enjoy the four-diamond experience they have come to expect from Cache Creek Casino Resort,” according to the statement.
