TSA Contracting Inc. has completed renovation work inside Sycuan Casino.

More than 12,000 square feet of restaurant and gaming area have been remodeled in a six-month, $1.44 million project.

The Wachena Restaurant and Gaming Lounge was demolished and recreated into a new dining room, bar and Primrose Room.

The restaurant is approximately 4,970 square feet and includes a sit-down bar area, slot machines and gaming tables. The Primrose Room is roughly 7,130 square feet and also has slot machines and table games, as well as a bar and cash cages.

According to Chip Stockmeyer, project manager, construction was completed in two phases to reduce guest and gaming operation disruptions.

David Robinson Design was the architectural firm that designed the renovation project.

The subcontractors involved on this design-build project included Neal Electric, Saber Plumbing, Towne Construction, Acoustic Works, Wageman Painting, Caldwell Glass, Classic Tile and Western Fire Protection.
