Original press release, 9/13/08: On Saturday September 13, 2008, about 1100 hours, officers from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to the 300 block of E. Main Street, in the City of San Jacinto, regarding a home invasion robbery.

The 23-year-old female victim reported that two males came to her residence and pushed their way inside. Both suspects then produced handguns and demanded to know the location of her roommate. After learning the roommate was not home, Suspect #1 demanded anything of value and took a wallet belonging to the roommate and left the residence with the second suspect. Outside, the victim's roommate (male, 23 years of age) and another male (24 years) returned home and saw both suspects leaving. The suspects threatened the roommate at gunpoint when he attempted to get their license plate number. The two suspects entered a white two door Chrysler Sebring with tinted windows and 20" or 22" chrome rims and fled east on Main Street.

Both male victims entered a vehicle and followed the suspects at a distance east on Main Street and then east on Soboba Rd. and turned around when the vehicle drove past the guard shack of the Soboba Reservation. Both men returned to the Main Street address where officers interviewed them.

Suspect #1 is known to the male victim and identified as "John." He is described as a Native American adult male in his early 20's, 6'0" and about 175 lbs. "John" has black hair, green eyes and a "Soboba Rez" tattoo on his left forearm. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, dark blue jeans and tan shoes.

Suspect #2 was described as a Native American adult male, in his early 20's, about 5' 10", approximately 250 lbs. and dark skinned. He has black hair, a goatee and a large "Soboba" tattoo on his neck. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored beanie, dark colored pants and tan boots.

The weapons were described as two shiny or chromed handguns. None of the victims sustained injuries in this robbery nor were any shots fired. The identities of the victims will not be released for their safety. Investigators responded and assumed this investigation.

The San Jacinto Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying these two suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Sergeant Dean Agnoletto at (951) 487-7351.
