Man arrested in stabbing at casino

Police arrested a man in connection with the stabbing of a man who was standing at the bar at the Soboba Indian Casino near San Jacinto early Wednesday
Police said a man approached the victim standing at the bar at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday and stabbed him in the stomach, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. David Kurylowicz said in a report.
The man ran from the bar as the victim was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening stab wounds. He was recovering Wednesday night, police said.
Police arrested Rafael Sanchez, 29, of San Jacinto, on suspicion of attempted murder, Kurylowicz said. Police are also looking for a second man for questioning, Heriberto Leyva, 21, as a person of interest.
Police are expecting to make more arrests in the case. They did not disclose what prompted the altercation.
