Peter Fordham is out as the Red Hawk Casino's general manager, according to a casino statement released today.

"Peter Fordham has left the organization, effectively immediately, to pursue other interests," according tot he statement.

Red Hawk Casino and Lakes Entertainment are currently conducting a search for his replacement.

Terry Contreras, Red Hawk Casino’s assistant general manager, will serve as the casino's interim GM until a replacement is named.

Red Hawk Casino opened last year and is owned by the Shingle Springs Tribal Gaming Authority, an "instrumentality" of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, according to the statement.
