Tehama County sheriff's investigators are hoping someone might come forward to help them find three suspects who abducted a Red Bluff man at a Corning casino and tried to rob him.
On Sunday at 1 p.m., deputies received a call from Juan Torres who was the Denny's restaurant in Corning.
He told deputies he was at Rolling Hills Casino earlier when three white men wearing bandanas and ski masks asked him if he could get into their four-door sedan, possibly an older gray Dodge or Ford, to take a look at something, investigators said.
Torres got in the car and they took him to an orchard in the Corning area, where they told him to empty his pockets and kneel on the ground, investigators said.
Torres ran off before he was injured or had anything stolen. He was unable to provide a detailed description of his abductors, investigators said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 529-7900.
