Though his office didn’t get a response to us in time for today’s story, U.S. Rep. Wally Herger is unchanged in his stance on gambling, particularly as it pertains to Enterprise Rancheria.

According to word his office sent today, Herger, R-Chico, is still generally opposed to the nature of gambling, and still believes local control should rule the day on such projects.

Herger will also help arrange for local governments to provide feedback about the project during a new 60-day review period for the casino by the federal Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Indian Affairs, his office said.
