May 1, 2010: California Association of Gaming Investigators and Regulators
Carl Olson, Board Officer "Today we have a Pomo Tribe wanting to move 100 miles from their 44 acre reservation near Ukiah to an area by Richmond, Ca. I would like to point out that "the restored lands exception" can not be used to give a Tribe sovereignty over land it has never governed before". This ignoring of federal law would give every Tribe in California the right to move anywhere even if it had not governed over that area. "
