Adam Ozimek Dec. 17, 2017 If they agree Bitcoin is online gambling, then they could then logically decide Bitcoin should be largely illegal in the U.S. like internet gambling. Regulators may decide that the only place you can legally buy or sell Bitcoin's in the U.S. is in a casino. Maybe New Jersey and Nevada will allow it like with online poker, and you have to live in one of those states to participate. I wouldn't be surprised if there are casino lobbyists pushing for this type of regime today.
